Every year hundreds of whales come to pair off and just hang out for a couple of months in the warm waters of Samana bay ( January 15 to March 15 on average ). You`ll get to see them up close and experience their majestic size and their very civilized behavior. We'll take you just a few meters of these majestic creatures all within a very safe and regulated environment.
We will explore the immense bay of Samana looking for whales in our safe and large motor catamaran of capacity of 70 persons. Life jackets are always supplied for your safety and rain jackets if needed.
You can count on our friendly boat crew and profesional tour guide to always assist you during your whale watching experience.
Also on board, we will serve you soft drinks and bottled water.
Once we find the whales, you will see them in their natural habitat for about 1 hour during the regular official whale watching time.
Nothing to be worry, you will be in professional hands with our experienced tour guide.
Our whale watching tour last about half day. Pick-up at your hotel starts at around 8:00 AM to travel to the Port of Samana to go aboard our boat by 9:00 AM to start our whale watching trip.
We'll be back to the port at about 1:30 PM, maximum 2:15 PM. Then we transport you back safely to your hotel.
